Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring strict adherence to delivery timelines.
- Prepare, verify, and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and proactively resolve any delays or logistical bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipping data, inventory levels, and carrier performance.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse personnel, and clients to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and TMS platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
