Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and proactively resolve any delays or issues with carriers.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and clients to update status and manage expectations.
- Manage inventory levels for shipping materials and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and recommend process improvements to reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping regulations, and import/export procedures.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate with vendors.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is a plus.
