Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments, ensuring alignment with customer delivery expectations.
- Prepare, review, and process accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Communicate proactively with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
- Track shipments in real-time systems and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with warehouse organization to maintain optimal operational flow.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and recommend process improvements for cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehousing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse clients and vendors.
