Responsibilities
- Manage the End-to-End Shipping Process: Oversee the preparation, picking, packing, and labeling of shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with Carriers: Liaise with third-party logistics providers and freight carriers to schedule pickups, track deliveries, and resolve transit issues.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed logs of all shipping activities, including tracking numbers, delivery statuses, and inventory movements in our ERP system.
- Resolve Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve shipping errors, damages, or delays while communicating proactively with internal teams and external clients.
- Optimize Logistics: Analyze shipping data to identify trends and suggest improvements to reduce costs and enhance delivery times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with shipping software, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and transportation management tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with vendors and clients professionally.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot logistics issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
