Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in all storage zones to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and accurately update stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures can range from -10°F to 40°F) for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver’s license (Class B preferred) and a clean driving record.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
