Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Produce quarterly future-state briefings for executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Establish and nurture an external futurist network including academia, startups, and think tanks
- Translate complex future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon as a future-shaping industry leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic frameworks that drive measurable outcomes
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-vision projects with measurable business impact
