Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Organize inventory, stack pallets, and ensure accurate placement in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff regarding inventory levels and operational needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand safety labels, work orders, and inventory lists.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
