Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume distribution centers
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/untract trailers using pallet jacks and electric pallet movers
- Maintain accurate inventory counts via RF scanning systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse traffic patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 6-month grace period)
- Minimum 1 year recent warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- RF scanning system proficiency preferred
- Clear criminal background check (no recent DUI/felony convictions)
