Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load/unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Document all activities and maintain accurate logs of operations
- Assist in training new operators on safety procedures and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
