Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload pallets/containers safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Support cross-functional departments during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/overtime
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
