Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products in warehouse and yard settings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with precision and accuracy
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
