Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse setting
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Train on new equipment and technologies as implemented
- Support dock operations including loading/unloading trucks and palletizing
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) and occasional overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
