Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in warehouse settings
- Load/unload trucks and organize inventory according to company protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations
- Assist in training new operators on equipment and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse/distribution environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
