Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, etc.) in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently to ensure timely shipment and receipt of goods.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety issues and report any malfunctions to management immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and logging stock movements.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
