Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of warehouse activities
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in warehouse organization and maintaining clean, hazard-free work areas
- Participate in cross-functional tasks as needed to support overall operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and potential holiday shifts
