Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, selecting optimal carriers and routes
- Manage documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms) for compliance
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory staging
- Build and maintain carrier relationships to negotiate rates and service levels
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Act as primary point of contact for shipping-related client inquiries
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with multi-carrier experience
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Blue Yonder) and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to manage high-pressure situations
- Proven track record in optimizing shipping costs and delivery timelines
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- APICS or CSCMP certification preferred
