Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain organized inventory and precise stock rotation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for accurate inventory tracking
- Assist in maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of certified forklift operation experience (OSHA certification required)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
