Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to prevent damage
- Participate in regular safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse settings
- Strong understanding of material handling best practices
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory reports
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
