Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment daily
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors immediately
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse setting
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license preferred
