Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) to move, stack, and organize inventory in the warehouse efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks safely and accurately, adhering to strict shipping schedules.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift and work area to ensure compliance.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure inventory accuracy and complete necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by stacking pallets and clearing aisles.
- Report any maintenance issues with equipment or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) preferred.
