Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and completing warehouse documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working order.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and material handling processes.
- Stack and organize pallets efficiently to maximize warehouse space utilization.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including packing and shipping.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
