Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Coordinate with team members for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Assist in warehouse organization and inventory management
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operating experience (certification preferred)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 7 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid California Driver's License (required for yard operations)
