Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Order Pickers, Reach Trucks) to load, unload, and move materials in the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform daily pre-shift safety checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid license required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50+ pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy (ability to use handheld scanners or tablets).
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
