Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent safety hazards
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse/manufacturing setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
