Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Stack and organize pallets efficiently to maximize warehouse space and ensure easy accessibility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts and tagging.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
