Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Sort, stack, and organize inventory according to established safety and organization standards.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate data entry into the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed during downtime or peak hours.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently with a positive attitude.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
