Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Assist in inventory management by counting and recording stock.
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production targets.
- Stack and organize materials in designated areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA certified).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
