Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and dock areas
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Verify product quantities and documentation against shipping/receiving records
- Maintain organized storage areas and optimize space utilization
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts (valid certification required)
- OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment
