Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve merchandise from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners and inventory management systems.
- Package items securely, ensuring they meet shipping standards and are properly labeled.
- Verify order accuracy by checking product descriptions, sizes, and quantities before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certified personnel) to move heavy inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve workflow speed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies regarding heavy lifting and equipment use.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn scanning software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to the Brooklyn facility.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
