Job Overview
The Picker Packer is responsible for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will select items from the warehouse, prepare them for shipment, and ensure all quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Select and verify merchandise for orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely in boxes, cartons, or crates to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with correct shipping information and barcodes.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
