Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation compliance and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier contracts to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
- Liaise with clients to provide shipment updates and resolve inquiries
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper packaging and labeling
- Generate shipping reports and analyze logistics performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS software
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure situations
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
