Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport packages using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and maintain organized storage areas.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick orders according to packing slips and ensure packages are securely sealed and labeled.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to management immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of shipments and inventory movements using handheld scanners and software.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate warehouse environments.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate warehouse management systems or RF scanners.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
