Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and relocate materials safely and efficiently
- Load/unload trucks and containers while maintaining precise inventory records
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow during peak hours
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent safety hazards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4:30 AM) with consistent overtime
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
