Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end domestic/international shipments including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier negotiations
- Optimize freight routes while maintaining strict compliance with DOT/FAA regulations
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse transfers using WMS systems
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Implement cost-saving measures in transportation and warehousing
- Maintain compliance with hazardous material handling protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Expertise in Incoterms, customs brokerage, and international shipping documentation
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost analysis
- Exceptional communication abilities for multi-stakeholder coordination
- OSHA Hazmat certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field required
