Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively resolve transit delays
- Optimize routing and negotiate freight rates with 3PL carriers
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory staging
- Analyze shipping KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Build relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with international exposure
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Manhattan Active)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- Valid US driver's license
