Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier negotiations
- Optimize freight routes to minimize costs while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate warehouse operations for seamless order fulfillment
- Implement and maintain compliance with international shipping regulations (IATA, IMDG, DOT)
- Utilize TMS software to track shipments, generate reports, and identify improvement opportunities
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Develop contingency plans for shipping delays and disruptions
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination with international exposure
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate) and MS Office Suite
- Certification in logistics (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge of customs procedures and export documentation
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost reduction
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
