Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time using TMS software, providing proactive updates to stakeholders
- Optimize routing and load planning to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions with immediate attention to service recovery
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory management
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to resolve urgent logistical challenges
- Excellent communication abilities for coordinating with carriers, clients, and internal teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with zero tolerance for documentation errors
- Valid Colorado driver's license and clean driving record (may require occasional site visits)
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
