Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration monitoring systems per OSHA protocols
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software
- Adhere to HACCP standards and sanitation procedures for food safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product distribution
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in subzero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP/SQF)
- Proficient in inventory tracking systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
