Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital controls
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Execute sanitation protocols and facility cleaning procedures
- Inspect refrigeration equipment and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and HACCP guidelines
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely product movement
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid driver's license (for yard operations)
- Background check and drug screening required
