As a key member of our operations team, you'll ensure the safe handling, storage, and movement of perishable goods in our state-of-the-art cold storage facility. We provide paid training, safety gear, and a supportive work culture focused on excellence and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Unload, inspect, and store refrigerated products at optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols in cold environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Participate in routine facility maintenance and cleaning procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
