Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses (-10°F to 45°F)
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct routine inventory audits using RF scanners and digital tracking systems
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and OSHA safety standards for cold environments
- Operate and sanitize refrigeration equipment, including blast freezers and coolers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures (OSHA 10 certification preferred)
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
