Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Perform daily forklift inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory using WMS systems and maintain accurate stock records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless material flow
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Train new operators on safe forklift operation procedures
- Optimize stacking and storage methods to maximize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of industrial forklift operation experience
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
