Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper stacking/palletizing techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records via scanning systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Assist in warehouse cleanliness and organization initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
