Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting processes
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift experience in warehouse/logistics setting
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory and measurement tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
