Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in warehouse and distribution settings
- Accurately receive, scan, and organize inventory according to company protocols
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Document inventory movements and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to all safety procedures and contribute to a zero-incident workplace
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
