Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse/dock environments
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and container operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
- Reliable transportation to Virginia Beach location
