Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize pallets of goods in warehouse and yard areas
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize inventory flow and dock schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation of material movements
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and verifying delivery accuracy
- Support warehouse cleanup and organization initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience (valid certification required)
- OSHA Forklift Operator Certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
