Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in busy warehouse environments
- Accurately load/unload trucks and organize inventory in designated zones
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain detailed inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Train on new equipment and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of recent warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
