Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Load/untract trailers and organize palletized inventory with precision
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Train new hires on material handling best practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 2+ years of recent industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Clear background check and drug-free certification
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled warehouse environments
- Preferred: Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management software
