Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods in 50,000 sq ft climate-controlled warehouse
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Execute inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols at all times
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Optimize material flow to minimize handling time and reduce costs
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or equivalent state certification)
- 2+ years of recent warehouse/forklift experience with proven safety record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to early morning/late night shifts
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
